Your Sonnet
You are the one that I dream of at night
So please sing to me your sweet lullabies
And be the color scheme of all my light
Just lay here with me to watch the sun rise
All of this happiness may soon be lost
If I tell you all my secrets and thoughts
I’m not sure if it will be worth the cost
Please just loosen up all of these slipknots
Maybe all of this is a little dream
So when I laid here for hours just thinking
It shot right to my heart through my bloodstream
That’s when I saw our silhouettes sinking
These tears are falling down like razor blades
They’re cutting what’s left of all my grey shades
