The faint sound of bells ring,
No bird outside dares to sing

The air is cold and damp with the taste of bitterness,
If only I could have given you a farewell kiss

Your path became more and more narrow,
Just like the eye of a sparrow

The darkness took control,
I wish I could put time in a hold

There is a loud silence when I stand at your grave,
I try my hardest to be brave

The bright flowers that rest where you lie,
Will force the ’memberance that you did die

The author's comments:
I would like to dedicate this to my grandmother Patsy Lou who died about two years ago.
