What is love?
Is it the ties that bind humanity,
or the blood that stains our dreams?
Is love the immortality we blindly seek,
or the passion that fills our eyes
as we look upon those who sin.
Why is love so desired?
at alters littered with broken hearts and useless lovers.
Love is not for me
Love is nothing but a word
a lie that blinds the foolish
For love will never run through my veins as it did in yours.
