In the summer
I sit outside
looking through the window with my desk staring back at me
the dog occasionally does his spastic sprint
holding one of my toys in his mouth
I don't mind though
I hated that toy
some clothes being dried on the line
we have a drier,but
the novelty of this was to good to pass up
Just another day in the sun
pretending the busy cars nearby were gone
pretending there was acres of grass behind me
Just a day in summer
a day that will make me burn for weeks
I knew I forgot something
