I discover where I’m from
In the undying sounds of my childhood.
The echoes of my memories,
Everlasting in my mind,
Gives the meaning,
To every day of my life.

Whisper, Whisper
The sounds of innocence.
Whisper,
The happiness that seems forever
Whisper,
Goes the sound of disillusion.

Boom! Boom!
The sounds of “Hard Knocks”
Boom!
Z’s tape roll’s on.
Boom!
Goes the sound of my heart.

Crash! Crash!
The sounds of angst.
Crash!
The struggles and regret
Crash!
Goes the sound of growing up.

Smash! Smash!
The sounds of ourselves
Smash!
All we’ve come to know,
Smash!
Goes the sound of who we’ve become.

Tick-Tock!
The sounds of a life gone
Tick-Tock!
Despite life always goes on
Tick Tock!
I can never get it back.

I can never get it back.
Bang!
