Some people say it's wrong to be .
But who are they to judge me?
I am who I am.
That's all I can ever be.

I thought love was about happiness.
Not about gender.
That's how I look at it.
So why does it matter?

The author's comments:
This is about how the world always tells me it's wrong to be , in my eyes eveyone is different. I always had a difficult time with my family and people in the community about me being . I got over it when a close friend said to me "love is about happiness". I soon realized that it is NOT about gender. And most importantly; noone can jugde me.

This is a great poem about injustice in the way people think. I love the way you say "so why does it matter?"

Is there supposed to be something after the be in: "Some people say it's wrong to be"? Because if there is, it's not there.
