What did I do to deserve this?
Why do I deserve this? I really do not know.
I have a guardian follow me everywhere I go,
blocking all the punches that my life happens to throw.
I was born lucky, to this day I don't know why.
I hope this luck just carries on until the day I die.
I dread the day my circumstances finally go awry.
I wasn't born ugly and I think I'm kind of smart,
I have a loving family who's been there from the start.
I'm physically fit, and I have a decent heart.
Of course, some ailments have popped up and prevailed,
I've cried, crushed by my life, from my back impaled.
Sprinkle in some masochism, all that pain becomes derailed.
