Black and White

Life is not all black and white,
In a wrong there forms a right,
And the day seeps into night,
For in the darks there creeps a light,

There is not just sin and god,
In a truth there is a fraud,
Upon great good evil must trod,
In a jeering crowd, applaud,

Hate and love can coexist,
A soft smooth hand can clench a fist,
Where the sun shines through there was a mist,
The one you killed has once been kissed,

Life is not all black and white,
Speak but do not run or fight,
See the world through colored sight,
See both sides of life despite,

Of those who see in black and white.
