Tears ripped from eyes that can't see light.
Not enough time to recover all the fights.
Please understand the words that don't come to mind.
Find a place for your hands and make it in mine.
Normal will cease to exist when you go away
And I can't fathom the darkening of the sky to grey.
Minute by minute I'll take them all.
Reach for the seconds to make them long.
Formatting words that don't seem to fall.
You can take all of me if you can keep me strong.

The author's comments:
This was written about my two best friends. Their relationship was purely friendship for so many reasons; despite feelings on both ends. They got closer and closer to a relationship; but now he is moving almost 9,000 miles away and she...she'll stay here, well most of her. Her heart however will be riding along in his suitcase.
