Yeah, I hate Haiku.
I'm not good at it like you.
Haiku is dog poo.

Yeah, I hate Haiku.
Teacher said, "Write one or two."
Can't she get a clue?

Yeah, I hate Haiku.
Did plant seed but nothing grew.
Just have to make do.

Yeah, I hate Haiku.
I would rather eat fondue.
Or get a tattoo.

Yeah, I hate Haiku.
You won't ever see me blue.
Except with Haiku.

Yeah, I hate Haiku.
Can't write one- what can I do?
Soon this will be due!

Just turned in Haiku.
Nervous as a kangaroo.
What if teacher knew?

Yeah, I love Haiku!
Could write them all day-I do!
Look, I did pull through!

A Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry that has five syllables on the first line, seven on the second, and five on the third. Happy reading!
