Smile
Fake smiles are like masks,
Using them for a task,
To cover up all the worry and hate
Not willing to open that gate.
The real ones make
The whole world escape.
Warming the air,
Showing no care,
For all the despair.
Focusing on the happiness
Is what I do,
When I smile for me and for you!

In school, I am known as the girl who smiles a lot. "I am too happy," some might say. What people don't realize is that even on the worst days, when nothing is going my way, I smile. Don't get me wrong a lot of the times my smiles are genuine, but on those days that they aren't I smile because I am mostly afraid that someone will ask me if I'm ok. I hate that question! Most people would think that that is a stupid thing to hate, but when you ask me that obvious question, of if I'm ok or not, it just reminds me of why I was sad in the first play. When I smile it makes me focus on the bright side even when I think there isn't one. I would encourage everyone to smile if they are having a bad day because it makes you feel a little better and who knows who you will make feel better by smiling.
