Teen Ink

Summary: Eric was a young boy when he was struck by lightning, leaving his brain in a fragile but powerful state that few people ever reach. His mutated brain left him with the ability to use several abnormal powers that he uses to defend himself from strange, mutant dogs he calls Death Machines that have been chasing him ever since he was mutated. As he evades the fiendish monsters, he learns more about his deceased friend Kale's background, and how his lineage shaped who Erik is today.
