The Secret Goldfish

Summary:
Miles Shame is the main character who wishes for a better life, his dad is a drunk, his mom is never home and hit three older brothers all have problems of their own. His one older brother ran away from home with a girl he though he loved. Miles Shame gets mixed up into some trouble with a gypsy woman and she sells him a goldfish that can grant wishes, as long as he feeds it and gives it sunlight. Soon Miles learns that he cannot wish his life better but do something to make it better!
