Potato Famine
Summary: Living in 1845 Ireland Doirent thinks that soon all her woes will be over, ones the potatoes are harvested. Soon though, she will find herself with a failed crop and nothing to eat. She has to survive on next to nothing and get past the hardships of having nothing to eat. Soon she will be all alone, and on a journey to a new land in order to live.

Delightful first published work by this author. Lots of accurate historical detail woven into lovely descriptions. Can't wait to read more by this author.
