mental illness. Those two words have the power to give an image of both of these things: crazy people that rave and rant or a violent, scary person.

Yes, I am sure there are a few unfortunate individuals who have this problem. But this is not a definition of mental illness.

Many people with 'mental illness' have completely different problems-there are so many types that it is hard to group them all together. There are some like anorexia or bulimia, in which the mind gives the impression that food is bad and to be avoided. there are others like OCD or ADHD, both complex and difficult illness'.

So what happens if one of your family members has an 'unknown' mental illness? What steps are there to take? So far..not much.

What is the government doing about this? I don't know, what ARE they doing about this?
