Darkness, Cold, Silence, Stars

Darkness envelops me and so does the cold that comes with it. They are my real home; my only true friends. They're my sanctuary. The silence fills my ears, and stuffs them like cotton fluff. The only sound is of my beating heart.
The night comforts me; calms me down. The stars are my counselors. They understand and accept every aspect of me, my life, my thoughts and my feelings. This I know: darkness, cold, silence and stars will never betray me.
