I fly through the air on my hard wooden swing, letting the slight drizzle from above soothe my summer-hot skin. The tree I hang from drops a cherry on my head, which then bounces to the ground.
At the height of my next swing, I kick my legs up, flipping upside-down and landing crouched over with both feet on the grass. I claim the cherry as my prize and lie down in order to soak in the true taste and beauty of this sweet candy of nature. I pass my hand over the jewels of water that cling to the grass. I look through the green maze of of branches and leaves above me to see a magnificent bird soaring overhead. As I listen to its beautiful song and begin to drift off to sleep, I can't help but think...
