Dear Chris McCandless
Dear Chris McCandless,
Into the wild you went,
Never to wander out.
What compelled you forward?
How did you survive on so little so long?
Just tell me how you died,
So I can solve that mystery.
Your life was enigmatic,
Your compulsions left cryptic.
Where would you have gone,
If you had left the bush that summer?
The world will never know,
And that is a tragedy.
Sincerely,
A curious admirer
