Courtroom

By
This is high school.
It’s a courtroom.
Everyone is a judge.
Everyone is guilty.

I am labeled as a dirty. I shower every day.
She is tagged as a stoner. She doesn’t even smoke.
He is called an art freak. He will get a scholarship.
She has a ton of friends. She doesn’t have a best friend.

He is dubbed a partier. He just hangs around them.
She is called a bitch. Everyone is jealous of her.
He is branded a Goth. What’s wrong with black clothes?
She is identified as a slut. People spread rumors.

He is called a fag. He has his own taste in clothes.
She is described as a book worm. She is a genius all around.
He is labeled a redneck. He likes to hunt.
She is branded a band geek. She will master the cello.

He is identified as a jock. He will bring the team to state.
She is called an emo. She is an artistic writer.
He is labeled a loner. He doesn’t like to be the center of attention.
He is named a wigger. He listens to rap.

Labels are for soup cans.
Labels are for record companies.
Labels are for merchandise.
Labels are just stickers.

Everyone is someone.
Everyone can have his or her own opinion.
Everyone can be judgmental.
Everyone can rebel.

This will certify that the above work is completely original.
