In the writing titled “On Growing Up” written by Kira Pyman, I felt that she was right about how you know when you grow up. The writing left me feeling like I’ve been going through some of the same things she described. The main reason I agree with this writing though is that I ask my dad about his childhood all the time, and now he doesn’t seem to be the person he is describing in his stories. She talks about how, “you can no longer Imagine things as you once did” (1-3). She also talks about, “Everything seems so distant” (4), and I thought about that statement and agreed with it. I liked how she then went on to talk about her memories and how she used to think, compared to her thoughts now. I think that she used a ton of imagery to have the reader imagine the way it was described and seen through her eyes.
