I feel the same way Sarah does in her poem “Just Listen.” She asks, “Why won’t people listen to the things I have to say? Just because I’m a minor do you have to walk away?”
I agree; because we’re teens doesn’t mean we don’t have thoughts, feelings and opinions to share. Give us a chance! For those of you who walk away, stop and listen for once. We might have something really important to say.
