Favorite Quote:
If you can't convince them, confuse them.

Because of you, bully, I can no longer look in a mirror.
Because of you, bystander, I can no longer stand up for myself.
Because of you, parents and teachers and administrators, I can no longer trust.
You, bully, were supposed to be my friend.
You, bystander, were supposed to help me in my time of need.
You, parents and teachers and administrators, were supposed to protect me when others couldn't.
Because of you, world, I am no longer alive.

The author's comments:
This is kind of a personal piece, because I was bullied for a very long time. It stopped after I finally decided that I wouldn't put up with it anymore. But for some reason, I always wondered what would have happened if I hadn't gotten that courage. This poem is an experiment with that.
