The sky burned orange, singed by the sands of the desert, illuminated effervescently by the setting sun of civilization. The rain poured down in a chronic spontaneity of heavy showers, creating upon the ground shimmering abstractions of the world above; to the eye, a mere two inches deep, but to the mind, infinite.
