Faster, faster, faster. I just can't seem to run fast enough. Looking behind me, I see him catching up. I stumble and fall on my face. Before I can get up, he has caught up with me. He offers his hand, but I choose to get up on my own. He stares at me with his bright eyes. I want to look away, but I cannot.
"There is no need to fear me." Not once did he open his mouth. He extends his hand, and this time, I take it. An astounding connection went between us when I took his hand. It was as though I had known him all my life.
"Fix your eyes on the sunset and the sunrise, for they will guide and lead you to the place I have given you. Don't lose sight, my child. I pray that you never lose sight.

Last week, I was doing my morning walk, and I happened to look out across Lake Michigan. The sky was all different shades of pink. It was so beautiful. When I see things so beautiful it looks as though an artist painted it, I know that artist is God.
