My Name is Sakura

My name is Sakura. My favorite person is my big sister.
She likes to dance, but people don’t want her because she’s Japanese. So she dances at night instead.
She dances under the moon and stars. She dances all by herself
I watch her. She doesn’t know, but I do. And I like to watch her dance.
One day, tall, important men come and tell her that she has to go with them.
Now she can’t dance, so I dance instead. I dance under the moon and stars.
One day, a neighbor sees me. He sees me dance and he thinks I’m good.
He tells his friends and every night people watch me. One night, someone brings a friend.
This friend tells me that I am very good and that he wants me to dance for lots and lots of people.
I get to dance on a big stage and in front of people I have never met before.
I dance and I dance and I dance and I have fun dancing and when I’m done, my sister comes back.
Suddenly, she can dance, too and it doesn’t matter anymore that we’re Japanese.
