If there is any way of surviving I must get more workers, but how? My soldiers depend
on me to make it out of this mess alive and to be the worlds’ best clan. Workers cost way too
much and in order to pay them off I need more workers. Workers these days are picky and they
refer to be paid in clean fresh cut diamonds. The cheapest I found is two hundred and fifty
diamonds. I am the general and all my men depend on me.
“General! Sir we’ve just been attacked! Our command center was taken out and so
was our headquarters! What do we do sir?” said Lieutenant Rambo.
“Get our two workers on the repairs and have two spies check out our cameras and figure
out who did this and have them go check out the attackers’ base and look for weak points. We’re
going for revenge. I also want our best riflemen in training and ready in the rallies, along with
our bomber specialist ready to take down some walls. Oh and don’t forget our gunners we’re
going on ahead and doing operation demo. Don’t worry about seizing any gold and oil our main
priority is to cause as much damage as possible.”
Lieutenant Rambo went silent for about a minute as if in deep thought then his face
flickered on like a light bulb and proceeded with “Yes sir our troops will be ready in twenty four
hours.” He hurried towards our backup command center tent that is set up when we get attacked.

I approached the gold and oil mines to observe their work. I proceeded towards the
manager of the mines.
“Sir we have good news, 5 of our oil pumps are pumping out a thousand three hundred
dollars’ worth of oil each, every twenty four hours. Except for the new pump you had installed
yesterday we need to upgrade it sir. And our gold mines are bringing a thousand nine hundred
each, also every twenty four hours.” said Private Kyle.
“Very well then resume all work. Once we have enough let me know so we can upgrade
all of our oil mines, we’re running very low.”

A week later our storage was stocked up with gold and oil and our command center was
fixed. I walked in to check things out and Lieutenant Rambo came towards me with a joyful but
at the same time evil voice and said, “Sir we have all the info on the clan that attacked us. We
have their coordinates ready and we have video surveillance just outside their camp under cover
by the trees. We’re just waiting on your signal sir.”

Well then I thought to myself very briefly, we have all our troops and our base is very
well protected, but I don’t want my troops to get upset if we lose because were going up against
a very tough clan that shows no mercy. “Well I think you gentlemen have worked hard for this
moment so get all the troops that are in this battle and have them ready. Private Hon I want you
behind those screens and monitor their every step. As soon as they head out you give the signal
for battle. Lieutenant I want you to have everything in order and ready for private Hon’s signal.”
I took a pause and went to deep thought. “Gentlemen I want you all on your toes, this clan is
very well protected and they are not stupid. They must know what we’re up to. Well I’ll leave
you all to it. I will be in my office.”

I thought to myself in silence. I have faith in my men but there’s also a bit of doubt
poking at me. I pushed it away and prayed everything went well. But deep in my mind I had a
sense that things weren’t going to happen the way they were planned. I put my head down for
what seemed to be a little while but really a couple of hours.

“Sir we’re on the move the troops are in order and you’re all we need left!” shouted Lieutenant Rambo.

We arrived at the break between flat land and thick jungle. I stood there in distress
watching my troops swarm like an angry pack of bees. I watched as one by one my troops were
being shot down. I ordered my armored men to go in and then while the enemy was distracted I
sent in my bombers, they took out a section of the wall. Then that’s when my men went in there
and took down tower by tower and cannon by cannon. Once half the weapons were cleared I sent
in all my riflemen and they started taking out what was left. I stood there only to see that in the
far back they had a row of two watch towers on both sides, and two cannons in the middle. They
had taken out all my gunners, my rifle men weren’t going to make it.
My snipers got into position and they took out one by one. I was down to twenty three
men and there was smoke everywhere and I as I looked I felt a great sense of pride because my
troops took out everything and we won. I gathered everyone up and we took as much as
resources as we possibly could.

“Sir! We just picked up a signal that the enemy is approaching fast. They must have seen
the smoke and hurried.” Lieutenant Rambo informed.

“Hurry and get all the troops and head out now! Go! Go!” I had a scared tone in my
voice, but I couldn’t help it. Lieutenant Rambo saw it in my eyes but he kept it to himself.
We were all running out of the open and just a couple feet before we reached the jungle I heard
gunshots, one by one, as if time was slowed down. But in reality full automatic weapons were
being shot. I reduced to a jog and looked over my shoulder. Half of my men were on the ground
and before I could get a chance to react I felt a warm feeling in the left shoulder. I knew that I
had been shot. As I began to stumble I received a second shot on the side of my stomach. I fell
instantly. Lieutenant Rambo came towards me and I told him to run and take charge of the clan.
He and seven other soldiers ran off. I looked as my enemy picked me up and dragged me to their
command center.
I woke up in a dark humid room. It was fresh and the place gave me goose
bumps. I was chained up against the wall. I could feel the cold but smooth wall against my bare
back. My wounds were cured and patched up. If Rambo made it back, I knew that with his
stubbornness he would come back looking for me. It was all a matter of time.

I’ve been trapped here for almost two weeks. It’s surprising how they’ve been bringing
me food. Has Rambo forgotten all about me? No! He couldn’t have. I’m completely positive he’s
out there planning my escape. But it’s been almost two weeks and he hasn’t come. Knowing him
he would have come back for me the very next day of my capture. Something must be wrong.

Sitting there in utter despair made me loose it, so I stood up and paced back and forth. A
great deal of ideas started popping up in my head for my own escape. Every move I made looked
suspicious. There were cameras in all four corners of the room. Every square inch of this
chamber was being monitored. They could see if even a tiny ant was walking about.

At least half an hour passed by, but it seemed like an endless amount of time. There were
Voices outside my door, one of them seemed very familiar. Someone was bringing me my food.
My stomach wasn’t in the mood for food at this moment. I went towards the door to listen in on
the conversation beyond the door. And that’s when my brain automatically connected that
familiar voice to its corresponding body. Lieutenant Rambo! I tried to convince myself that I was
wrong but I didn’t manage to. Now it makes sense to no one has rescued me. That’s when I
heard all the footsteps and in the distance there was a slight sound of gunshots. Was this base
under attack? It went silent not a single noise and that’s when my door opened, and to my relief
all my men were standing behind the door.

“Hello General, it’s a pleasure to see you again” said Lieutenant Morgan. He was the
back up of Lieutenant Rambo. He was to take his place if anything was to happen to Rambo.
That could only mean one thing.

I spoke in a very surprised voice, “Hello to all of you, I was getting ready to think you
weren’t going to come for me. Now where is Lieutenant Rambo? Shouldn’t he be here in
command?”

“Sir it’s a long story and we really need to get going before the rest of this clan gets here.
We waited to attack until most of them left.” Lieutenant Morgan urged.

Back at our command center we all sat in the lunch room eating a mouthwatering
meal. It filled my stomach right up after so much of the awful food I was being fed. Everyone
was in their best of moods, making jokes with grins from ear to ear. I couldn’t stop thinking of
Rambo. I didn’t want to ruin the moment, but I must know what happened to him.

“Gentlemen if any of you don’t mind. May I please know what happened to Lieutenant
Rambo?” I asked bluntly.

Lieutenant Morgan was the first to speak. He looked at me in fright, but at the same time
his voice was complete with anger. “With all due respect sir, but that traitor is going to be blasted
to smithereens!”

“What are you trying to accuse Rambo of?” I couldn’t keep the anger out of my voice,
but I had become attached to Rambo. He reminded me a lot of a buddy I used to have.

“Sir, Lieutenant Rambo was the one that shot you. He is with the clan that captured you.
He must have been planning it.” I saw the hatred in Lieutenant Morgan’s eyes. I couldn’t
believe that such a thing happened. Lieutenant Rambo would never do such a thing, he has been
my right hand man for a long time.

“How do you expect me to believe such a lie? Lieutenant Rambo would never do that. He
has been loyal to us for so long. He hated the clan that captured me. He would always urge me to
attack them because he had a sort of unexpected hatred towards them that is unexplainable.”

“Sir I know this is hard but why do you think he always wanted to attack? He just wanted
you captured that’s why. I have the video surveillance that you might want to see. Do you
remember the cameras we set up to spy on that clan? Well we were going over them to try to see
if we could locate where they had put you, and instead we saw something that will most
definitely change your mind.”

I was taken to the surveillance tent. It was warm with all the computers and monitors
running. They took me to a computer where Lieutenant Jessie was waiting. He was in command
of all that has to do with technology. He stood up and gave me his chair.

“Welcome General, please have a seat. You might need to be sitting after you see what
has happened. Well here we go, okay if you take a look, this camera was the one that
captured the area where you and Rambo were evading the gunshots. Now you see right
there is the time you got shot, but if you look closely you can see the other clan’s troops are
shooting, but they are shooting at the ground and in the air.”

I was having trouble processing what was going on here. I took a deep breath and sighed.
“This isn’t going anywhere. They must have gotten a good shot because I was hit in the
shoulder.”

Lieutenant Jessie looked at me and stated flatly “No sir, they did not get a good shot
because it was Rambo that shot you. If you take a look he was on your left side, and he was
several feet behind you. If they would have landed a good shot it should have been on Rambo
but it wasn’t. Now watch as I enhance the picture, you see right there as soon as Rambo turns
towards you, sir, you can see something in his hands and its shaped just like a hand gun. Close to
a second later from him turning towards you, that’s when we see that you’ve been hit and
you can see blood.”

That’s when it finally hit me. It was Rambo that shot me. That also it explains why he
isn’t here right now. Now I know who that familiar voice I heard belongs to. I’m going to kill
that traitor with my own two hands. He needs to pay for what he has done to me and my clan.
