The first time I attended this camp, I was fourteen years old. Having learned about it through my dad, I was pretty excited and had some pretty high expectations. Certainly, they were met when I attended this summer program. The course I took (Comic Art) was relevant, engaging, and good for most skill levels.

I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere, too. The campus is gorgeous and the kinds people are one of the biggest draws for me. I can meet and make friends of interests I share or wish I knew more about. I've even convinced friends of mine to attend as well, and they've enjoyed the experience as much as I have.

The summers do get quite hot, but there's not much that can be done about that. A bit of heat is worth an experience that will stay with you for many, many years (in a positive way, too). Now that I'm 18 years old, I haven't missed a single summer since that first one.
