Shadow and Bone starts off slow but then takes a violent plot twist leaving you hungry for more. The show is set in a dark fantasy world and the main character is from Ravka; a country which is divided by a dark monstrous place called the fold. It follows the journey of the sun summoner. The one person said to be able to destroy the fold and the challenges she faces along the way of trying to make Ravka whole again. As well as her friend Mal struggling to find her again. There are also compelling side characters trying to kidnap the sun summoner or simply trying to survive getting shipwrecked in cold waters. The cast was really good and transported you into the magical land of shadow and bone. Once you get past episode five it is a wonderful show and ends in an epic cliffhanger.
