In her previous album on might say she was just a girl, wise beyond her years, with a phenomenal, unforgettable voice which had the ability of making your heart pang for her losses and woes in love. Now, with her new album 21, she's only two years older but the maturity definitely shows in her voice. This time, her album has a more Americanized approach to it but the quality of music is still enthralling at best. Her style and taste in music has evolved but a piece of her old British self can still be found in her spine-chilling live performances (which are by far better than the CD itself). This album is meant for a sad, Sunday afternoon with a bitter book and a melancholic meal of marshmallows to soften the blow. Absolutely a tear-jerker.

Key tracks include: Set Fire to the Rain, Someone Like You and obviously, Rolling in the Deep.
