Book Review of 1984 by George Orwell

George Orwell's classic book, 1984, is a science fiction book with a great message. It was written in 1949 but is supposed to predict what the world will become in 1984. It describes of a society of government and people who become so inhuman that it is sickening. And the worst part is that the people don't even realize what they have become.

Winston, the book's main character, is the only person who realizes what the people have become. But in this corrupted world, the thought police catch him and try to turn him into a “normal” person.

George Orwell is historically known for writing great books. He writes very descriptively, which in some parts makes up for the lack of exciting plot. George Orwell is the reason this book is a classic. All in all, the book was very good. The message portrayed is amazing, and the writing style is incredible. 1984 is impossible to stop reading once you begin, if I were to rate the book, I would give it an 8.5 out of 10, but it is still defiantly a book worth reading.
