Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes Review

Eric and Sarah Byrnes had been best friends for as long as they could remember. Throughout their whole life, they had been deemed outsiders. Eric because of his weight, and Sarah Byrnes because of burn scars on her face that she got when she was only three years old. While she claims that they came from a pot of boiling spaghetti that fell on her face, many think otherwise.
Now they are in their senior year of high school, and Sarah has suddenly stopped talking. While many of the nurses think it is because of something that had happened recently, Eric is sure that it has something to do with her burns. This book may bore you some in the beginning, due to annoying flashbacks and lack of action, but near the half way point it turns into a fast paced story of friendship, love, and action that will keep you entertained all the way up to when you finally get told the truth about what really happened to Sarah's face.
