“A Mango-Shaped Space” by Wendy Mass was, in my opinion, a good read. I found it an easy book literature wise but a complex book story wise. I would recommend this book to friends looking for something to relate to, or for looking for something different than other books that are in right now.

The book was about a young girl going through normal young girl things. This is of course until she finds out that the shapes she sees when she hears noises aren’t normal. She soon realizes how her gift has helped her and how it’s brought her down. Now she must face a choice between the normal life or her life of color.

My overall rating would be a 7/10.

(And the cat does relate to the book but I don't want to give to much away)
