lord of the flies

September 26, 2012
In lord of the Flies by, William Golding, a group of adolescent school boys crash land on a remote island and are tested by nature itself. They must face losing friends, hunting their own food, and raids of enemies on their campsites. I think that this book is way too unrealistic. The way that they survive a crash landing and not one of them gets injured is a bit convenient. The overall setting of the book is also a little to fake for me. This book connects to The Hunger Games, but then again this novel was written in 1954. In an overall comparison I did not like the book very much because of its lack of connection to the real world. .
