What would it be like losing your family to Nazis? I did not really like this book. It was very boring and not descriptive. It was about Nazis that trapped Jews in a ghetto. The main character was a girl with a weird name like Rifkele or something. Most of the characters names doesn’t make sense except some one named David.

This whole book was about a family trying to survive and their dad dies and mom gets taken away, so it is a 17 year old girl and 3 little boys. Then one dies from tuberculosis. The boys keep selling bread for oranges, and they always had a party about it. It was a very weird book.

The plot of it was not very good because it was vague and it was only about a Jewish family. If anyone read this book I would tell them not to because it is not good.
