Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is a different type of book, however it was very enjoyable. The book’s story line and Ransom Riggs writing complement each other; the story wouldn’t be as great if it had been written by a different author.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is about a boy, Jacob, trying to piece together the meaning of his grandfather’s final words. In order for him to do this he must travel to an island off of Wales. While he is there the characters from his grandfather’s stories actually exist and are possibly the answer to Jacob’s questions.
If you enjoy twists, turns and mysteries I suggest that you read this book. This book can teach you to always expect the unexpected because anything can happen at any time.
