The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton

The outsiders was a great book and is well recomended. It tells the story of a group of teenage boys living in the south. Ponyboy struggles to keep his family together while running away from a great problem his best friend Johnny caused. The boy's go through great ordeals together and struggle to keep it together. The book deals with rough subjects such as death, love, rule breaking, and school. The book "The Outsiders" is a great book for all genders in their teen years.
