Pop By: Gordon Korman

Pop by Gordon Korman, is a story about a kid named Marcus Jordan. He moves in the middle of the summer to Kennesaw, Oklahoma. The Kennesaw Raiders, going on two undefeated seasons, try not to let Marcus Jordan in. Troy Popovich, the starting quarterback, will fight with Marcus Jordan for the starting QB spot.
When Marcus Jordan first moves to Kennesaw he checks out the town notices a park named Three Alarm Park. Here he meets a man that is tall muscular built. The man says his name is Charlie Popovich. Marcus almost has a heart attack. Standing in front of him is Charlie Popovich the “King of Pop”. He played 14 seasons in the NFL, seven seasons with the Chargers, and seven with the Bengals as a linebacker.
The genre of Pop is sports you will get kind of confused in the beginning of the book but it all makes sense at the end. The age level of this book is 12 and up. If I were to rate this book it would get a10 out of 10. The book is the best book I’ve ever read.
