Think about all the people you don't notice. You don't notice the quiet kid in the back of class. You don't notice the kid who skips class. And you certainly don't notice the poor strange guy who lives on a rundown sailboat with his alcoholic dad. That's what its like for Chance Taylor.
Chance Taylor lives in the marina of Seattle. When a strange man offers him a job for good money, and all he has to do is secretly deliver packages to a tree, Chance accepts. He knows his new job is suspicious, afterall; he has never even met the man paying him. So he keeps it a secret.
There are so many twists and turns; it was really hard to put down. It keeps you wondering throughout the whole story. What are in the boxes he's delivering? Is his dad such a bad guy afterall?
This book made me think so much about terrorism where I live, and how its everywhere. This is the kind of book that everyone should read. It has good lessons and a really compelling plot.
