"A richly provocative novel." This is what one man said about The Giver. This book is an inspiring novel about a boy named Jonas which struggles towards honor, just to find out that his whole world is just a plain lie. The weather is controlled and everything is controlled, even the individual jobs of each person. So now Jonas is trying to escape and give everyone something that he calls "The Memories." You'll have to read the book to find out what this means!
