A young boy named Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of another school because of his ADHD and dyslexia. What Percy doesn’t know is the very issue that gets him into trouble is also part of his very unique package of gifts. Although he doesn’t have a choice he, with the help of his best friend Grover and a new friend Annabeth, have just ten days to find and return Zeus’s master lightning bolt, which will prevent a war and save the world. Percy has been wrongfully accused of taking it.
Percy Jackson the Olympians:the Lightning Thief is a nonstop thrill from start to finish and author Rick Riordan is a masterful writer who keeps you, as a reader, wanting more after each page. You must know what happens next! After each book ends you’ll want to have the next installment in the five part series. I recommend this to anyone who likes action, adventure, or mystery.
