Princess Ashley Magazine

By

Princess Ashley by Richard Peck is a book about an ordinary girl, named Chelsea, who is trying to fit into a new school. She doesn't want anything to go wrong, so she keeps her mother's job as an ISS - In School Suspension - monitor a secret. And so she is welcomed into the world of Ashley, the rich girl who lives next to the country club.

I enjoyed this book very much because it deals with the teenage problems of today. Although it's written from a girl's point of view, any typical teen can pick it up and understand that it's talking about the "too-much" freedom many teenagers have today. And how several are heading towards disaster while searching for limits they can't seem to find.
