Can You Really Stay Away From Trouble?

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to not have to worry about trouble?
Fifteen year old Henry Smith has never questioned this idea before now. His older brother, Franklin, was killed in a car accident, so his life hasn’t been without trouble. From trial proceedings to arson to hitchhiking to being shot to mountain climbing, Henry’s life has become one giant ordeal. With his best friend, his stray Black Dog, and Chay Chouan, the boy who supposedly cost Franklin his life, Henry sets off on an adventure to be remembered. On this journey, Henry realizes that prejudices are not allowable and things are not always as they seem. Trouble is book worth reading if you enjoy drama, so go and find it in your high school library.

This was published in my school's newsletter. People actually went back and read the book after reading my review and came away with the right message. I hope that everyone who reads this will go and find "Trouble" by Gary Schmidt.
