Hysteria is my Legacy

This article was about a young girl who was running through her childhood forest. She was running for her life, and memories were filling her mind as she ran. Her house was so close, but the footsteps that she could hear behind her, made everything move slowly and seem far away. The girl died, remembering her life, and she was at least happy to have died laughing.

This piece really inspired and surprised me. At first I had the feeling she was taking a walk through the forest in which she had grown up in. In reality, this girl was running from a man, and the author did an excellent job of expressing the girl's thoughts and feelings during this situation. Usually people say "I don't know what i would do in that situation." Well this author described the setting very well, and i could picture myself in the girl's shoes.
