In 'our call of duty' by D. Carlo, he feels that teenagers aren't doing their jobs when it comes to supporting veterans. In some ways, this is true. Teenagers these days spend most of their free time on the Internet. Yes, it is veteran's day, but all they manage is a post online, or a status on facebook. They may not realize how much these soldiers sacrificed for us, our country. Their minds are only focused on the veteran's day weekend, not the true meaning of this day. To these teenagers, they need to know from experience in order to really understand the sacrifices made and the dangers these soldiers faced. There aren't words to express how grateful we all are!
