Some of you say that you really like Play station 3 or Xbox 360 and think it’s the best. I respect your opinion, but neither of those can touch the greatness of a Wii so great is because it is physically active. This makes it a great way to play sports on your TV with out having to go outside and play sports if it’s raining or not. I mean what system let’s you play sports on your TV by using your body.
One thing you may not know about the wii is that it is a physically active system. It is also motion censored. It is also very difficult to play with while playing on the couch it is a game system that you have to use your body in a ton of the games they have for it.

The wii is also great if you want to lose weight. They have at least three games that I know of that that calculate your weight and figure out how much weight you lose per week. These games are wii fit, Jillian and Bob’s workout, and the biggest loser. The wii also has a channel that tells you what the whether is outside.
You can also create your own character how ever you want. The wii has some defects just like all the other systems my friend’s wii just quit on him not that long. It just stopped working while he was playing on it one day. The balance board that they have for the wii has a built in scale that measures your weight. It keeps track of your body fat and it also tells you how pounds you lose per week. It also keeps track of how many calories you lose per week. So say good buy to those scales because once you get the wii balance board and you can start losing pounds today


In the first two days that the wii was released in Europe it sold over 325,000 copies. This has made the wii the fastest selling in home console in history according to Nintendo. In the first two weeks it sold over a million copies. The wii system came out June7, 2006. America had sold over 600,000 wii consoles in the first eight days it was released. Including the sales of games and accessory’s they sold over 190 million dollars in those first eight days it was released in America. The top selling games in Japan was wii play and wii sports. In the first two days of the Australian launch they sold 32,901 systems. Nintendo is working on creating a second console in the year 2011.


The wii has hundreds of games here are just some of the many titles there are they include super smash bros. brawl, Call of duty 3, Wii play, Tony Hawk’s Ride, Wii Resort, and Wii sports are a few of the games they have. I love how the wii is family oriented were as the Play station 3 and the Xbox 360 are more adult consoles. One of the best games that they have for the wii is all the Guitar Hero’s that they have. A downside to buying a Play station 3 is that it cost almost $400 dollars for the 160 GB hard drive. The Xbox 360 and the wii are about the same price and are about $200 dollars for the system with one controller.


My family and I saved for two years and hope to get the thrill ride that is the wii this Christmas. I feel it will bond our family even more. Hey if you suck up to your parents by acting like you’re having a good time
