The article by Sena Weaver titled My Moon, My Stars, My Confidence, is about the true feeling on trust and being able to confide in people. Some people have lot of friends that are trustworthy. But when a friend breaks that trust, and you feel that you can’t trust anyone. You need someone to confide in. Sena confides in the moon. There must have been a reason Sena or anyone must confide in; something that doesn’t talk or say anything to anyone. Something that cannot break trust. “Enjoying my silly mistakes.” I feel like the author feels insecure about herself and about what people think of her. She may even think that if she confides in the moon or stars that they’ll judge her. “But I suppose I could tell the moon, the moon can’t hurt you.” She talks about wanting to avoid being hurt and being betrayed.

Hi! I'm the author, Sena. You pegged me about right on a lot of that stuff, especially the moment I wrote that poem: I was really stressed out, I felt like I had no friends or even people I could talk to, I was worried nobody liked me. It's nice to know that even with a little poem like that, people notice and see what's really going on. Thanks for writing this.
