I can't comprehend your blue eyes.
Glassy distant mountains steeped in white fog,
Your blue eyes, I wonder, do they cry?

The beginning of the epilogue
Is marked by the tear stain upon your face.
Is this the extent of our dialogue?

My heart will never know how to keep pace
As you love to little, move far too slow.
Does your chest have room to share its space?

Your love was a dream left in bed alone
To wake up next to me and feel so empty.
How can you pretend that I am not home?

Will you and I always be clouded by lies?
I can't comprehend your blue eyes.

Written out of a need for love, and an infatuation of a boy's blue eyes.
