Hiding on my bed
While toys are thrown all over the place.
I try to read, write, and draw in my little space.
Then I just play on my device instead.
My bed’s crowded with paper, pens, and books that I’ve read.
I hear the slamming of a case.
Who put the guinea pig in my face?
It is these hours that I truly dread.

They’re gone now. Yay!
I hope they think that’s enough for today.
I get down and clean up the mess they left
And inspect my belongings in case of any theft.
Back on my bed with silence and peace,
I wait for the panic to drastically decrease.
