I can say goodbye, but without a fear,
The body is gone but spirit is not,
It ascends the heavens, I shed a tear,
But rebirth awaits; a wonderful thought.
The Savior's promise of a brand new life
Is likened to the spring, budding anew.
A well fought battle, overcoming strife;
After the winter many have been through.
A place of grandeur, a welcoming home,
Resplendent with warmth, and vibrant with hues,
Away from the mortal and mundane loam,
Everything to gain and nothing to lose.
And after spring, a summer unending,
Will I get in? My status is pending...
