They slipped briskly into an intimacy from which they never recovered. - F. Scott Fitzgerald

It was a dry night in October when I decided it was enough.
Bruised hearts     Bruised cheeks        Bruised lips
I left her and it wasn’t even tough
Though minutes later I needed her kiss

Mom thought it was enough too
She said get out and threw away my stuff
I left on my bike with my eye looking blue
2 am on my own, life is just getting rough

So much fear I can’t even breath
Three am three hours away from home but three seconds away from suicide
loneliness makes you weary, indeed
No lover No mother No one to care if I died

Weak and homesick and craving her hips
Can’t go back, just wish I could touch her with my bruised lips

Poem about break-up, getting kicked out of home on the same day and leaving to Florida on a bike. True life event. I'll submit a novel with the experience in it, fully detailed.
